Henrik Zetterberg out vs. Flyers

Detroit Red Wings captain Henrik Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk are not making the trip to Philadelphia and will miss Tuesday's game against the Flyers because of injuries.

Zetterberg, who leads the Red Wings with 16 goals, 44 points and a team-best plus-19, reaggravated a back injury prior to Sunday's game against Florida. He had missed 11 games with a herniated disc in December.

Datsyuk hasn't played since Jan. 1, missing 10 games with a lower-body injury.

The Red Wings, however, are optimistic that goaltender Jimmy Howard will return after missing the last three games after fluid was drained from his left knee -- the same knee that caused the U.S. Olympian to miss nearly three weeks in December because of a sprained ligament.

Joakim Andersson also might return from a lower-body injury Tuesday for the Red Wings, who are fighting to keep their streak of 22 consecutive playoff appearances going.
