Taylor Hall out with shoulder injury

DENVER -- Edmonton Oilers left wing Taylor Hall has left Saturday night's game against Colorado because of a left shoulder injury.

Hall was injured in the first period and did not come out to the bench for the start of the second.

He will have an MRI on Monday.

"We'll see what the MRI tells us," Oilers coach Tom Renney said. "Step back from the ledge, first of all. Just relax and see what the MRI and the medical staff tells us."

Hall was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 amateur draft and finished with 22 goals and 20 assists in 65 games as a rookie. He has seven goals and 11 assists in 22 games this season.
