Xcel Energy Center is adjacent to the St. Paul RiverCentre complex in the heart of downtown St. Paul. The Wild sold out its first 409 home games at Xcel Energy Center. One of the arena's unique features is a ring of hockey jerseys representing every boys and girls high school team in Minnesota, visible from the main concourse. There are also four crow's nests in each corner of the upper level -- one for a small band, one for a Zamboni-shaped organ, one for broadcasting and one for a lighthouse. In addition to numerous high school state championships and college hockey games, the arena hosted the 2008 Republican National Convention and the 2004 NHL All-Star Game. The Xcel Energy Center was home to the 2002 and 2011 NCAA Frozen Four and hosted the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
