GREENVILLE, S.C. -- George Hincapie says a report of what he told federal authorities in connection with an investigation of Lance Armstrong has weighed on his mind as he prepared for the USA Cycling Pro Championships.
Hincapie did not wish to comment further Friday about last week's "60 Minutes" report that he told investigators he and Armstrong supplied each other with performance-enhancing drugs.
Armstrong has denied doping during seven consecutive Tour de France victories from 1999 to 2005.
Hincapie is a close friend of Armstrong and was his teammate for many years. He's competing in Monday's road race championship, which takes place in the cyclist's hometown.
Hincapie said he's focusing on the "good things in my life and I've got a lot of those."
