    A young Peter Hudnut wrote those words after becoming obsessed with the Olympics as a boy. He did become an Olympian, overcoming an excruciating back injury to make the 2008 water polo team and help the Americans win their first medal (silver) in 20 years. But instead of feeling a sense of accomplishment, Hudnut said he felt like "a loser."
