ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Subzero temperatures kept competitors off the trails for a second straight day at the U.S. Cross Country Ski Championships.
The sprint races were postponed Wednesday because of minus 10-degree temperatures. Races won't be held unless temperatures reach a minimum of minus 4 degrees.
It's hoped the races will resume on Thursday, the final day of the event, said spokesman John Quinley.
Only two distance races were contested on Monday.
