Dumais brothers lead all qualifiers

MISSION VIEJO, Calif. -- Justin and Troy Dumais led the qualifiers in the men's 3-meter synchronized diving preliminaries Tuesday at the U.S. National Diving Championships.

The brothers had 320.88 points, while Marc Carlton and Brian
Mariano were second with 256.18. The top six qualifiers advanced to
Sunday's final.

Justin and Troy Dumais were the Olympic trials champions and
will represent the United States in Athens next month.

Mark Ruiz and Kyle Prandi led the qualifiers in the 10-meter
platform synchronized event. Ruiz and Prandi had 321.30 points to
edge Caesar Garcia and Matt Bricker, who had 314.46.

In women's synchronized diving, Cassandra Cardinell and Sara
Hildebrand topped the qualifiers in the 3-meter, but finished
behind Emily Bouck and Nicole Pohorenec in the 10-meter platform.
