Kristina Koznick

Accomplishments: Koznick has won four World Cup slalom races -- two in 2000 -- and four U.S. slalom championships. As a junior, she won eight U.S. Titles -- two in slalom, three in giant slalom, two super-G and one downhill.

Details: Instead of training with the U.S. ski team, Koznick instead trained for this season with Norwegian skiers and a personal coach. She made her World Cup debut at age 15 in 1991, and by 1998 she was the No. 2 World Cup slalom racer in the world.

She was a member of the 1998 Nagano Olympic team but did not medal.
