Alan Alborn

A native of Anchorage, Alaska, Alborn likes to fly -- on skis and in a plane. He followed in his father's footsteps and became a pilot. He owns a single-engine Cessna 185.

Alborn is also good at flying on skis as he became the first American to jump more than 200 meters, setting the mark at 210. He began skiing at age 2 and jumping at 9 years old. At only 17, he made the Olympic squad and had the second-best U.S. results at Nagano in 1998.

Alborn also enjoys salmon fishing in Alaska and has even tried ice fishing.
