EDMONTON, Alberta -- Mark Stone had two goals and an assist for Canada in a 10-2 win over Denmark at the world junior hockey championship Thursday.
Scott Harrington had a goal and three assists and fellow defenseman Brandon Gormley scored a two goals.
Quinton Howden, Ryan Strome and Freddie Hamilton, Brendan Gallagher and Brett Connolly each added a goal.
Canada scored seven straight goals before Nicolai Meyer and Emil Kristensen scored for Denmark in the third period.
The Canadians had 51 shots against Denmark's Sebastian Feuk. Mark Visentin stopped 24 of 26 shots for Canada in his second win of the tournament.
Canada tops Pool B at 3-0 ahead of the U.S., Finland and the Czech Republic at 1-1. Denmark dropped to 0-3.
The host country has Friday off and meets the U.S. on Saturday to conclude the preliminary round. The U.S. meet the Czechs and Finland take on Denmark on Friday.
