Amanda Kessel's goals fuel U.S. rout

BURLINGTON, Vt. -- Amanda Kessel had two goals and an assist to help the U.S. women's hockey team beat Russia 9-0 on Sunday night at the World Hockey Championships.

Hilary Knight added two goals, Kendall Coyne a goal and three assists and Brianna Decker a goal and two assists. Goalie Jessie Vetter stopped five shots for the shutout.

The win gives Team USA a bye to the semifinals. The Americans will finish the round-robin portion of the tournament with a game against Finland on Tuesday.
