Hannah Kearney gets 10th win

ARE, Sweden -- Olympic champion Hannah Kearney was back to her best on Friday, winning the individual moguls event for her 10th freestyle World Cup win of the season.

Kearney qualified in first for both the finals and super finals.

It was the first race for Kearney since her dual moguls semifinal loss in Naeba, Japan, in February. That loss ended Kearney's all-discipline record of 16 consecutive World Cup victories.

"My goal was to simply focus on skiing and not proving that I could win or worrying about the results at the end of the season," Kearney said. "I was just trying to focus on this competition, something I have said all along. But I think that was the mental lapse that happened in Japan."

In the men's competition, Philippe Marquis beat his compatriot Mikael Kingsbury into second place for a Canadian one-two finish.

Japan's Sho Endo was third.

The World Cup dual moguls are Saturday.
