EIG generates 70 percent of page views among internet sports producers

ESPN Internet Group (EIG), part of Walt Disney Internet Group (NYSE:DIG), held tightly to its leadership position in the Internet sports category in July, according to recently released Media Metrix figures.

  • EIG accounted for 70% of all July page views generated by EIG,, the sites and Fox Sports Online. EIG generated more than 326 million page views that month, while its nearest competitor compiled just 83 million. [July Media Metrix]
