Bruno Senna will race at Monza

SPA, Belgium -- Formula One driver Bruno Senna will keep his seat with Renault until at least next month's Italian Grand Prix.

The Brazilian makes his F1 return this weekend at the Belgium GP, where he replaces German driver Nick Heidfeld and will team with Vitaly Petrov.

Renault said Thursday that the 27-year-old Senna also will race "at the Italian Grand Prix two weeks later" in Monza. It remains unclear if he will compete in the following six GPs.

Senna, whose late uncle was F1 great Ayrton Senna, would not comment on how long he expects to be involved. He added he couldn't say anything for legal reasons.

Senna made his F1 debut with Hispania Racing last season, and started the season as a reserve driver for Renault.
