When it comes to racing, the harder the better
If it were easy, everybody would do it. That's particularly true for racing. But as you watch the NASCAR Cup regular season wind down and many drivers and crew chiefs struggle to get in, remember one thing: They love that struggle, and so should you.

NASCAR found no major violations in postrace tech this week following the weekend races at New Hampshire. Earnhardt wife: Daytona Clash 'not worth risk'
Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s wife, Amy, responded Tuesday to a social media storm after the driver mentioned she did not want him to participate in the 2018 preseason Clash at Daytona. "It's not worth the risk," she tweeted.
Nascar has hired Pocono Raceway CEO Brandon Igdalsky as managing director for event marketing, overseeing event-related NASCAR marketing initiatives.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. said there is a significant hurdle to him competing in the NASCAR preseason Clash next February at Daytona. Although he would be in as a past winner, he felt he earned his way in with the pole at Daytona a few weeks ago. Earnhardt, speaking Tuesday, explained why he might not run it: "[My wife] Amy doesn't want me to run it. … I've got a pole now and I kind of want to run it. But we'll see if she warms up to the idea."
