Furniture Row Racing announced Sunday that it was adding a second car to its Sprint Cup lineup, to be driven next season by Xfinity rookie Erik Jones.

Denny Hamlin led the final Sprint Cup practice, which lasted only 30 minutes because of lightning at Michigan International Speedway. Hamlin later spun during the session and slightly damaged the front of the car in the grass. The team will make repairs for the race Sunday.
