Harrison commits to Buffs

Offensive lineman Edwin Harrison of Houston-Westbury, Tex., has chosen Colorado over Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, TCU and SMU.

The Buffs recently gained defensive lineman John Guydon of Placentia-El Dorado, Cal/Fullerton CC, Cal., over interest from San Diego State, UNLV, Oregon State, Arkansas, Colorado State, Kansas and Kansas State; offensive lineman/tight end Tyler Polumbus of Englewood-Cherry Creek, Colo., over Arizona, Washington, Vanderbilt and Kansas State; and quarterback Brian White of Mission Viejo-Trabuco Hills, Cal., over Arizona.

Texas A&M, Texas and Colorado lead the Early Top Classes.

Northwestern has its first verbal in linebacker Kyle Wagner of Jacksonville-Bolles, Fla.

Tulane has a verbal from defensive back Devin Blake of Jacksonville-First Coast, Fla., over Wake Forest, Clemson and Central Florida.

Offensive lineman Jarrod Britt of Marietta-McEachern, Ga., has decommitted from Clemson. He is now considering Alabama, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee.

Touted linebacker/defensive lineman Marus Lawrence of Aikien, SC/Butler County CC, Kan., decommitted from South Carolina. He is now considering South Carolina, LSU, Iowa State, Ohio State, Baylor and Florida.

Washington State has verbals from offensive lineman Patrick Afif of Temecula-Temecula Valley, Cal/Orange Coast CC, Cal., over interest from Florida State, Arizona and Washington; and defensive back Rayshawn Bobo of Moreno Valley-Canyon Springs, Cal.

Defensive back Grant Jones of Pawnee, Okla., committed to Oklahoma State.

SMU pledged offensive lineman Caleb Peveto of Flower Mound-Marcus, Tex., over Vanderbilt. The Mustangs recently gained offensive lineman Kennard Burley of Scurry/Scurry-Rosser, Tex., over Baylor and TCU; and receiver Blake Warren of Arp, Tex., over interest from Arizona, Baylor, Memphis, Texas A&M, Wisconsin and TCU.

West Virginia has a verbal from receiver/defensive back Eric Wicks of Pittsburgh-Perry Traditional, Pa.
