Temple selects Missouri over Kansas State

Top 150 running back Tony Temple of Kansas City-Rockhurst, Mo., has announced for Missouri over Kansas State. He also considered Michigan, USC and Tennessee, among many others. Considered among the nation's top running back prospects, Temple rushed for 2,034 yards and 32 tds as a junior, but was limited by injuries as a senior.

Citing the uncertain Nebraska coaching status, quarterback Allan Evridge of Papillion/Papillion-LaVista, Neb., decommitted from the Huskers to Kansas State. He had also considered Iowa State and Colorado State.

Indiana added defensive back Rayshaun Calhoun of Atlanta-Douglass, Ga. The Hoosiers recently gained receiver James Bailey of Detroit-Denby, Mich; and running back/linebacker Greg Weeks of Sarasota-Booker, Fla.

The Oklahoma Sooners pledged athlete Pierre Brown of Duncanville, Tex., over LSU, Kansas State and Texas A&M. The Sooners recently gained the nation's top running back, Adrian Peterson of Palestine, Tex., over USC and Miami-Florida. Among many others were Arkansas and UCLA. He rushed for 2315 yards and 32 touchdowns as a senior.

Defensive lineman Abraham Wright of Oklahoma City, Okla/Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, signed with Colorado over Missouri, Texas A&M, Washington State and Tulsa.

Kansas has a commitment from defensive lineman James McClinton of Garland-Lakeview Central, Tex., over Iowa, Houston and SMU.

Offensive lineman Drew Davis of Evergreen-Sparta Academy, Ala., committed to Alabama. The Tide recently gained Top 150 defensive back Simeon Castille of Birmingham-Briarwood Christian, Ala., over LSU. He is the son of former Alabama great defensive back Jeremiah Castille and his brother, Tim, signed with the Tide last year.

Washington State pledged defensive back/receiver Charles Dillon of Oxnard-Hueneme, Cal.

San Diego State has a commitment from tight end/defensive lineman Eric Miclot of Vista, Cal., over interest from UNLV and Wyoming.

Colorado State has a commitment from offensive lineman Richie Plunkett of Las Vegas, Nev. He is the son of former NFL offensive lineman Art Plunkett.
