Before briefly leaving with the injury, the Wisconsin product was having a big day, with 78 rushing yards on 15 carries, including an 11-yard run for a score.
On Thursday, coach Anthony Lynn chose to keep Gordon out of practice because of his knee. Fully padded, he rode a stationary bike on the side at the start of practice. However, Gordon was a limited participant in practice on Friday and was listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Gordon missed the final three games of the regular season last year with knee and hip issues. During his rookie season, he also missed the final two games with a knee injury that required microfracture knee surgery in the offseason.
After getting checked out by the Chargers' medical staff, Gordon returned to the field midway through the third quarter.
