Kyle Busch claims truck pole

HAMPTON, Ga. -- Sprint Cup star Kyle Busch has won the pole for the NASCAR truck race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

On an overcast Saturday morning, Busch turned a lap of 176.403 mph to claim the top spot for the American Commercial Lines 200, scheduled for later in the day. It was his first career pole at the 1.54-mile oval south of Atlanta.

Rick Crawford, who'll be making his 300th career truck start, earned the outside spot on the front row with a speed of 175.950. Another Sprint Cup regular, Kevin Harvick, was third at 175.699.
