Dungey mantains season points lead

LAKEWOOD, Colo. -- Ryan Dungey raced to his fourth straight AMA Pro Motocross 450 Class victory Saturday, beating Ben Townley at Thunder Valley Motocross Park.

"I've been fortunate to win some races," said Dungey, the Rockstar/Makita Suzuki star from Belle Plaine, Minn. "They let the track go today and it got rough, which was cool. It made for some great racing."

Dungey, 51 points ahead of Australia's Brett Metcalfe in the season standings, won the second moto after finishing second in the first.

Townley, the New Zealander riding a Honda, had his best finish of the season.

Christophe Pourcel, the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider from France, raced to his second 250 Class victory of the season.

"My race went good," said Pourcel. "I won both motos and had some good starts, so it was a pretty good day. ... All you can do is ride your best."
