VILLANOVA, Pa. (AP) -- Tiffeny Milbrett scored her second goal of
the game in the 87th minute as the New York Power snapped a
nine-game losing streak with a 3-2 victory over the Philadelphia
Charge on Wednesday night.
New York (3-13-1) overcame a 2-0 deficit in the final 10
minutes, with Milbrett beginning the comeback with a goal in the
83rd minute and Emily Janss tying it a minute later.
The WUSA-leading Charge (10-2-4) opened the scoring on Mandy
Clemens' goal in the 61st minute and made it 2-0 on Liu Ailing's
Milbrett, who entered the game in the 56th minute, has 10 goals
this season, and is tied with Charge star Marinette Pichon for the
WUSA scoring lead with 27 points.
