The Blue Toon head to quarters

Peterhead progressed to the quarter-finals of the Petrofac Training Cup with a 2-0 victory over fellow League One side Brechin at Glebe Park.
The Blue Toon took an early lead when midfielder James Redman slotted home from close range after just eight minutes to end a barren run of 20 games since his last goal.
That proved the only score of the first half but Peterhead doubled their advantage after 58 minutes when Steven Noble also netted a rare strike - a low drive into the bottom corner - having only bagged one previous goal in just over two seasons with the club.
Brechin made a triple substitution in the 63rd minute but City could not repeat the form which saw them beat Championship outfit Cowdenbeath in the last round as they drew a blank.
