Blackburn Rovers 1-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Dave Edwards' second-half header helped managerless Wolverhampton Wanderers salvage a 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.
In their first game following Walter Zenga's departure, the midfielder's second of the season 12 minutes from time was enough for a share of the spoils in a spirited encounter between two struggling sides.
Rovers were game as ever and looked to be heading out of the drop zone through Sam Gallagher's stunning first-half volley but it's hard to shake the feeling the home side were affected by their supporters protesting against the owners, Venky's, which saw a mass walkout minutes before the equaliser.
Their unbeaten home run stretches to three, though that will provide little consolation. Wolves are winless in six.
Interim manager Rob Edwards drafted in Conor Coady, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and Jed Wallace. Blackburn made two enforced changes, replacing injured duo Derrick Williams and Tommie Hoban with Charlie Mulgrew and Gordon Greer.
No side has conceded as many times as Wolves in the first 15 minutes of league games this season, so it was no surprise they were opened up again in the early stages.
They could do nothing about the goal though, which came in the 13th minute when Jason Lowe crossed towards Gallagher who showed superb technique to rifle home an unstoppable 12-yard volley into the roof of the net - his sixth strike of the season.
The promised fans protest started in the 18th minute, which involved loud and prolonged voicing of discontent.
It seemed to affect the players as Wolves sensed an opportunity and created three very good chances midway through the half.
Coady latched onto a Jon Dadi Bodvarsson knock-down but stabbed over from 12 yards, before a neat Edwards flick trickled agonisingly wide.
Jason Steele then adjusted admirably to divert Coady's deflected effort from range.
At the other end, Ben Marshall produced a magnificent fingertip save from Carl Ikeme, who went full stretch in the 38th minute to thwart the midfielder's curling shot.
Rovers improved after the break and just after the hour, Marvin Emnes found Gallagher in the area who should have scored but he was denied by a terrific point-blank save by substitute goalkeeper Andy Lonergan.
As promised, a number of Blackburn fans left in the 75th minute in protest of Venky's and the vastly reduced numbers saw their side ship an equaliser three minutes later.
Steele did remarkably well to push away a Joao Teixeira drive but Matt Doherty pounced on the rebound and crossed to Edwards who nodded home from close range.
Wolves could have snatched it in the last 10 minutes through Ivan Cavaleiro's rasping drive put Steele pulled off another fine save and the points were shared.
