Darmstadt 3-1 Wolfsburg

Wolfsburg's miserable season continued even under caretaker-coach Valerien Ismael as they were beaten 3-1 at Darmstadt.

A red card for Jeffrey Bruma midway through the first half helped Darmstadt out and they took the lead just a few minutes later with a free kick from Anis Ben-Hatira.

Wolfsburg levelled with Mario Gomez netting his first goal since returning to the Bundesliga in the summer, but it was not enough to earn his side a point.

Further goals from Laszlo Kleinheisler and Sandro Sirigu sealed Darmstadt's win as they put some daylight between themselves and their guests, who have not won since the opening day of the season.
