Defending champions Monaco missed the chance to put pressure on Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain as they were held to a 1-1 draw at lowly Amiens on Friday night.
The home side went ahead just after the half-hour mark as Gael Kakuta's through ball found Serge Gakpe in the centre of the box and he picked out the bottom-right corner to earn Amiens a narrow half-time lead.
Stevan Jovetic equalised for Monaco midway through the second half when he fired home Fabinho's cross.
That goal saved Monaco from only a third league defeat of the season, but the result means they will find themselves six points adrift of PSG if the pacesetters beat Nantes on Saturday.
Amiens, meanwhile, are 17th ahead of the weekend action after recording their third successive 1-1 draw.
