Scott Wilson grabbed a stoppage-time winner for Macclesfield to maintain their five-point lead at the top of the Vanarama National League following a 1-0 win against Maidenhead.
Danny Whitaker stung the hands of visiting goalkeeper Carl Pentney before Shwan Jalal comfortably saved at the other end following Ryan Upward's 25-yard effort in a quiet first-half.
Jake Hyde headed wide from close range for the visitors while Whitaker nearly put Macclesfield into the lead with a speculative vollley which whistled just wide.
Elliott Durrell was inches from netting for the Silkmen but Wilson popped up at the far post to nod in a last-gasp winner for Macclesfield's fourth successive league win.
