Andrea Favilli scored twice in the first half as Juventus cruised to a straightforward 2-0 win against Bayern Munich in the International Champions Cup on Wednesday.
Favilli, 21, tucked home from 10 yards away after an error by Bayern Munich goalkeeper Sven Ulreich, who misplayed the ball out of the back in the 32nd minute.
And the youngster -- who spent last season in Serie B -- made it 2-0 before half-time, latching on to a classy ball over the top of the defence and curling a fine shot around Ulreich to send his team into the dressing room with a comfortable lead.
Bayern wasted numerous chances in the second half to get on the scoresheet, but couldn't find the back of the net as Juventus saw out the win.
Juventus face Benfica in the ICC on July 28 before meeting Major League Soccer's All-Stars on Aug. 1, while Bayern Munich face Manchester City on July 28 in their next fixture.
