Famous for his playful personality, Shaq, whether rapping or serving as a reserve police officer, has led a multi-dimensional life. In this new autobiography, Shaq discusses his remarkable journey, including his candid thoughts on teammates and coaches, including Kobe Bryant, Phil Jackson and Pat Riley. Read an excerpt.

MacMullan, captain of the 1981-82 New Hampshire women's basketball team, spent nearly 20 years at the Boston Globe. She worked at Sports Illustrated from 1995-2000 and "Uncut" is her fourth book. MacMullan received the 2010 Curt Gowdy Media Award, the first female to earn the honor, given by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame for "outstanding career achievement in writing basketball."
