This season Brodeur began his 13th season with the Devils. In the early going, he's 4-4-0 with a 3.41 GAA. The team is 4-4-1 and the nine points puts the Devils one behind division-leading Pittsburgh.

Brodeur began his storied career in New Jersey in 1994 by winning the Calder Memorial Trophy as the league's top rookie. He has played in eight All-Star games including six straight from 1996 to 2001. He's a two-time winner of the Vezina Trophy as the NHL's top goalie. Seven times he's led the league in wins.
