Chat with NHRA driver Ashley Force

Welcome to The Show! On Friday, NHRA driver Ashley Force, daughter of legendary NHRA Funny Car driver John Force, will stop by to chat with SportsNation.

Ashley Force will be making her professional debut Funny Car racing debut this weekend. ESPN2 will broadcast the Carquest Auto Parts Winternationals starting Saturday, Feb. 10, with qualifying races on air at 10 p.m. ET. The Sunday elimination will start at 8 p.m. ET.

Ashley is a five-time winner of the Top Alcohol Dragster division and she began testing in the Funny Car division in 2005. She qualified for her competition liscense last season and set out to compete in the Funny Car division. The Funny Car division is the only drag racing category in which a woman has never raced for an event title.

John Force is a 14-time NHRA champion and is the president of John Force Racing, Inc.
