''Destination Basketball'' authors Hemminger, Bensch

Welcome to The Show! On Monday, Andrew Hemminger and Dave Bensch, authors of "Destination Basketball" will stop by to talk about their new book.

Hemminger and Bensch's story is about two lifelong best friends and their 15-month, around-the-world-trek to sit face-to-face with the best coaches in college hoops.

Starting with a simple idea in June 2006, they set out to accomplish the improbable. Compiling a list entailing many of the top coaches leading the most prominent and recognized programs, along with a number of past greats, the pair immediately went to work, despite possessing no clout within college basketball.

The book is a compilation of the interviews they had with each coach. Some of the coaches they spoke with include: Rick Barnes, Texas Longhorns; John Beilein, Michigan Wolverines; Jim Boeheim, Syracuse Orange; Billy Donovan, Florida Gators; Mark Few, Gonzaga Bulldogs; Ben Howland, UCLA Bruins; Tom Izzo, Michigan State Spartans; Gene Keady, Purdue Boilermakers; Bob Knight, Texas Tech Red Raiders; Mike Krzyzewski, Duke Blue Devils.
