Ken is here!

Do you think Denny Hamlin will have momentum for the championship after winning yesterday?
Ken Schrader (1:32 PM)
It's hard to tell. They didn't get it all back in one day. They were not the dominant car yesterday. They were able to get in there at the end.
How far do you think Denny will go this year? How many wins? Championship?
Ken Schrader (1:33 PM)
I definitely think we'll see him in the mix. I can't sit here and tell you what they have to do to become a contender, other than being more consistent. They're working hard on that.
What are your thoughts on Red Bull leaving NASCAR?
Ken Schrader (1:33 PM)
Well, we haven't heard anything official yet. We've heard undisclosed sources. We don't know if it's rumors of leading ownershipr or of leaving sponsorship too. We'll have to hold up and wait and see what they say.
Ken, any chance the JGR oil pan issue helped Hamlin at all this weekend?
Ken Schrader (1:34 PM)
It's two unrelated things. They had to go to what they ran prior. The thing with the oil pans is they have to submit them for approval. That was more the issue than the pan itself. It was not a big performance advantage.
Is Junior ready to make a real run at a championship this season?
Ken Schrader (1:35 PM)
I think when you're third in points, you're making a run. They want more speed, but when you're third in points, you're not that far off.
Red Bull only had the two teams, but could this have a negative ripple effect through the sport - with sponsors/team owners leaving?
Ken Schrader (1:36 PM)
Any time we lose an owner, a good top of the line team and sponsor like that, it definitely effects our sport. We don't want that to happen. We'll have to hold up and wait to find out what's happening there. I don't think it will have a ripple effect.
What full time driver do you see in the N'wide series most ready to make the jump? (Outside of Bayne or Sadler)
Ken Schrader (1:37 PM)
I have definitely been seeing some good performances from Ricky Stenhouse. He's near the top of the list. Allgaier has been strong and was strong last year. But right now, Stenhouse is leading the group.
Brad (Crossville, TN)
Ken, do you think Carl has what it takes to win the championship? And with you being family and all, any news on where he will be driving next year? I think he should stay put where he is, what is your take on the matter?
Ken Schrader (1:38 PM)
He definitely has what it takes. He's up there in points, doing a great job. It's just what happens when they get to the Chase. He's proven he can do it.
Hey Kenny!! I am such a big fan!! Will you be racing in any cup events soon?
Ken Schrader (1:39 PM)
We ran five already this year. We definitely might run some more in the fall, but June, July, August, I'm going in the dirt car.
Chad Smith (Fairmont WV)
Ken, I know that you have fielded cars for defending WOO Late Model Champion, Josh Richards, in the past, how do you think he will adapt to the asphalt world?
Ken Schrader (1:40 PM)
He's run some asphalt races already. He's done good. He'll get the opportunity to run Kyle Busch's truck some. I think he'll do just fine.
Chris Fiegler (Latham,NY)
What Race do you think that Danica Patrick will make her Sprint Cup Series Debut at?
Ken Schrader (1:41 PM)
She's done a good job, but if she really wants to do this, she needs to be in the car every week. I understand her situation that she has to split time with it. When she gets serious about it and is full time, we'll see what she can do. She'll be good, I'm confident in that.
If you could see nascar change one thing about anything, what would it be?
Ken Schrader (1:42 PM)
Somehow, I would want to get some expense out of it. The competitors are our own worst enemy when it comes to that, because we keep wanting better stuff.

What is favorite memory from nascar
Ken Schrader (1:43 PM)
I have a lot of good memories. It would be winning in Daytona. It was a neat deal to see everyone in the garage and the respect that they showed.
Best upcoming race?
Ken Schrader (1:44 PM)
No, I don't really have any favorite. The guys have become so good at the road races, so that's hard to pick. Then they go down to Daytona. The new track in Kentucky, that will be new to some of them. It's very competitive.
Ken Schrader (1:44 PM)
I'm enjoying watching the races on Sundays. I hope you are too.
