Welcome to SportsNation! On Wednesday, former U.S. Olympic gold medalist in women's soccer Brandi Chastain stops by to chat about the upcoming London Games, as well as the 2012 ESPYS (Wednesday, 9 p.m. ET, ESPN), where the Capital One Cup will be awarded.

Chastain, @brandichastain, played for the U.S. women's national team from 1988-2004, playing for two World Cup and two Olympic gold medal winners. Her 192 caps is eighth most by a U.S. women's player.

Chastain is on the advisory board for the Capital One Cup, which will be presented to the Florida men's and Stanford's women's athletics programs at the ESPYS. She recently shared her thoughts on the ESPYS and her career.
