Welcome to SportsNation! On Tuesday, the executive director of the NFL Players' Association DeMaurice Smith stops by to chat.

In March 2012, Smith was unanimously re-elected to a second term as executive director of the NFLPA. He led the organization through the 2011 lockout, which resulted in the signing of a 10-year CBA.

Prior to the NFLPA, Smith was an assistant U.S. Attorney in Washington, D.C. He has also worked in other D.C. law firms, representing corporations, boards of directors and senior executives in civil and criminal matters.
