Alex Morgan
Morgan is one of three national team players on the NWSL's Portland Thorns FC.

Welcome to SportsNation! On Monday, U.S. Women's Soccer forward Alex Morgan stops by to chat about her career on the pitch.

In 2012, Morgan, @alexmorgan13, was named the U.S. Soccer Female Athlete of the Year, joining Mia Hamm as the only U.S. Women's National Team players to record at least 20 goals and 20 assists in the same calendar year (28 goals, 21 assists). Morgan was the youngest player on Team USA's runner-up squad in the 2011 World Cup, the same team that went on to win gold at the 2012 London Olympics.

Morgan has expanded beyond soccer in penning her new book "The Kicks: Saving the Team," which is due for release Tuesday. It is the first book in an empowering, fun-filled middle school series about believing in yourself and working as a team.

Send your questions now and join Morgan Monday at 2 p.m. ET!
