Good afternoon! Let's talk some football!
Hi KC, would signing Knowshon Moreno or MJD be an upgrade for the Dolphins run game?
KC Joyner (4:01 PM)
At his best he would probably add a yard or so to the Fins GBYPA. Having noted this, Miami's big problem last year was run blocking, so unless they improve that area of the team, the run game could still be an issue.

The seahawks are a near lock to win the NFC west but you ready to proclaim the cards to have passed the niners?
KC Joyner (4:02 PM)
Not at all ready to say that Seattle is a near lock to win the NFC. Heck, they aren't a near lock to win the NFC West. That is the toughest division in the NFL and the Hawks could very easily finish second or third there next year.
Why hasn't Owen Daniels been signed anywhere yet? He's the top TE available.
KC Joyner (4:03 PM)
Good question. The five TEs in front of him on Bill Polian's ESPN Insider NFL free agent tracker (http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/freeagency/?year=2014&position=7

KC, do you like any of the FA OLine man left or should teams use the draft to replenish?
KC Joyner (4:05 PM)
Some team ought to make a run at signing Alex Mack, as he is the best OL in this FA class. That transition tag seems to be dulling interest in him, though. Outside of Mack, the rest of the OL FA class is good but not great. The draft is strong at some OL positions and not so strong at others, so teams would be best advised to use both arenas to upgrade personnel.

Hi KC - With the possibility of the playoffs expanding by two more games [7 teams per conference] it opens the door to all four teams in a division making the playoffs, do you think it will lessen the significance of divisional play during the regular season?
KC Joyner (4:06 PM)
Might as well make it like the NHL - the regular season is basically meaningless and only serves as jockeying for the postseason. I'm old school in this area and think the NFL would be better served by shrinking the playoff pool, not expanding it.

What NFL Team do you think that Johnny Manziel will play for in 2014?
KC Joyner (4:07 PM)
Am going to weigh in for Cleveland. I've got Bridgewater rated as the No. 1 QB in this draft and if he does go before Manziel, Cleveland can select Johnny Football.
Ben (Baton Rouge, LA)
The Bears essentially swaped Julius Peppers for Jared Allen. Do the metrics tell us that this was a good move for them?
KC Joyner (4:10 PM)
The Bears look to be planning to use Allen as a situational pass rusher. He and Peppers both still have very good skills for that type of role. It's likely a lateral move.
