One of the greatest players in franchise history, Chris Mullin was named Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations on April 22, 2004 after spending the last two years in the Warriors front office as a Special Assistant.

Originally selected by the Warriors in the first round (#7 overall) of the 1985 NBA Draft, Mullin spent 13 of his 16 NBA seasons with Golden State, including the first 12 years of his career. The Brooklyn, NY, native was a five-time NBA All-Star, having been named to the Western Conference squad for five straight seasons from 1989-1993. In each of those five seasons, Mullin averaged 25-or-more points per game, joining Wilt Chamberlain as the only two players in franchise history to average at least 25 points for five consecutive seasons.
