Chat with Jennie Finch
Finch went 119-16 at Arizona, including an NCAA record 60 straight wins.
Welcome to SportsNation! On Friday, former U.S. Olympic softball medalist Jennie Finch stops by to chat about the Women's College World Series. The tournament is underway (all games broadcast on ESPN or ESPN2) and the championship series begins Monday.
Finch, @JennieFinch, won a gold medal in the 2004 Olympics in Athens and a silver medal in 2008 in Beijing before retiring from the sport. As a two-time national player of the year at Arizona, Finch helped the Wildcats to the 2001 Women's College World Series title. In addition, Arizona never finished the WCWS lower than fifth during Finch's career.
Finch is again working with the Capital One Cup, an NCAA Division I athletics award that honors the top men's and women's college programs in the country. Teams earn points based on the final standings and polls across 39 sports. The winners get the Capital One Cup trophy and $400,000 for student-athlete scholarships.
Send your questions now and join Finch Friday at 2:30 p.m. ET!
