Hello! I'm ready for your questions!

"Classy" Amani Toomer. Its a pleasure to have you chat with us. Can you school the guys at First Take about the job Coach Coughlin has done this year. They say they won despite him. I say they won because of him. Your thoughts?
Amani Toomer (1:05 PM)
The great thing about that show is everyone has their own opinion. Even better, the opinions come under a litmus test. They can believe that, but he is doing a great job to keep that team together after a 4 game losing streak and to be as competitive as they are now. That speaks volumes.

Hey Amani, you are one of the best wide receiver that ever play the game. if the giants can stop gronkowski, an a heavy pass rush on brady, do the giants have a chance to win.
Amani Toomer (1:06 PM)
It's a great start. On offense, they still have to go blow for blow with Brady. Even if he is not having the day he had recently, he is still capable of a 4th quarter comeback. The offense will have to keep up.
Amani, are you surprised at how the Giants have played this year or did you believe they had a great shot all along?
Amani Toomer (1:08 PM)
I'm very surprised. I knew they had talent but it needed to develop. Jake Ballard's emergence was something I didn't foresee. Also, Victor Cruz! I wouldn't be honest if I said I thought they were a Super Bowl team back then. Nobody knew who Victor Cruz was!
Do you think you will ever run the NYC Marathon again?
Amani Toomer (1:09 PM)
I would like to. That's another goal of mine. I wanted to do it under 4 hours but I finished at 4:13. That really bugs me. I'm limited with my time but I would love to. One of my greatest athletic accomplishments. I trained for 6-7 months straight. 6-7 days a week. Sometimes 8 because I would go twice a day.
How do NFL players balance partying and training?
Amani Toomer (1:10 PM)
Partying happens when you are not playing. When you are playing the partying has to stop. You can't do both and be healthy and focused. The partying wears you out. It's a demanding sport day in and day out. I couldn't do it.
What was it like winning a Super Bowl? Where does it rank on your all-time list of accomplishments?
Amani Toomer (1:10 PM)
Besides having twins and marrying my wife? Probably right under those.
Jason (New York)
What's with all the bashing of Eli Manning as not being elite? I just don't get it. The guy is on the verge of beating Tom Brady twice in the Super Bowl.
Amani Toomer (1:11 PM)
I really can't answer that question. There are so many haters out there. Maybe they don't like that he is Peyton's brother or that he did what he did in the draft, dictating where he wanted to be ... but if you look at his stats, you can't escape that. You can't not pay attention to his success.
Amani, just wanted to say what's up and that we miss you out here in the Bay. I had the chance to watch you play at De La, good times. Any part of you wish you were out there running routes with Nicks, Cruz and company?
Amani Toomer (1:13 PM)
I'd say about 1.73% of me wishes I was still out there. I'm very happy. I couldn't do it anymore so I don't really have a desire to be out there anymore. I wish I was out there going to the Super Bowl ... but all the working leading up to it? No thanks!
Thomas (New England)
What did you really think of the Patriots during your playing days?
Amani Toomer (1:15 PM)
They had won 3 Super Bowls so you had to admire them. They always came up big in big moments. They dominated during that span. Everyone in the league was envious when they were 5-5 and went on to win. We had just never seen that before. We were used to dominate teams steamrolling everyone on the way to the Super Bowl. The NFL was changing right before our eyes and it starte with Brady in my mind.
The superbowl is going to be a tough battle, You were an incredible receiver, Do you think Eli will use more of his receivers during the game than last weeks?
Amani Toomer (1:16 PM)
Yes. The Patriots weakness is the secondary. Of course, if the offensive line can hold off Wilfork they can dictate the pace of the this game.
Danny C (NY)
How does this Giants team compare to the one that you played for in the Super Bowl?
Amani Toomer (1:17 PM)
They are not very similar. Our defense was our mainstay. Eli was young and still developing and now he is one of the best in the league. The main difference was Eli. He was good then, but he is in a totally different stratosphere now.
Jrivz (Union City )
Its an honor to have this chat with you, ive been a giants fan since i was born. As a wide reciever who played a huge role on the Giants, what pointers would you tell Victor Cruz, Hakeem Nicks, and Mario Manningham about the Patriots in this superbowl
Amani Toomer (1:19 PM)
I'd say play it aggressively. Don't try and let the game come to you. People say that and I tried that but it was a mistake. I then decided to just go all out and had a great game. You have to just let it go ... let it fly ... you will remember this game for the rest of your life win or lose so you should go down swinging either way.
Amani,Enjoyed watching you all those years. Your diving, sideline, toe-tap catch in the NFC championship against the pack was one of the better catches I have seen. Thanks for the memories!
Amani Toomer (1:20 PM)
I remember landing on my lower stomach. I came up in a lot of pain. It was ice. The field had warmers but as soon as you got to the sidelines it was complete ice. I hit on my lower stomach and it hurt so bad. It's all I could think about. You can't just lay there so I had to walk back to the huddle and try to look cool.
Damian Vallis (Concord,CA)
When you coming back to the Bay to see your homies?
Amani Toomer (1:22 PM)
Schmin, I'm going to get back as soon as I can. I'm busy. The Giants keep winning so I have to keep doing stuff!
What is your opinion of the job Hoke is doing with your Wolverines? Do you think they can hang with the top SEC teams starting next year?
Amani Toomer (1:24 PM)
I think they will be able to hang. Hoke is doing a great job. They are getting the talent again. People want to go to Michigan. We won a BCS bowl game this year so that will help. They are back on the national scene with an exciting brand of football. It's going to attract a lot of people. To play for a D-coordinator with a pro scheme it makes for an easy transition to the pros.
Chris Fiegler (Latham,NY)
Who do you think will be Super Bowl XLVI Champions?
Amani Toomer (1:25 PM)
The GggggggggggggggMennnnnnnnnnnnnn! Thanks for the questions! I really appreciate all the excitement. Look forward to talking to you again in the future!
