Ohm (1:02 PM)
Hey what's up.
Ohm (1:02 PM)
See you in March as always.
Chris Fiegler (Latham,NY)
Will RB Andre Brown be Out for the Season due to the Injury He suffered against the Packers Sunday Night?
Ohm (1:03 PM)
He is on the Injured Reserve/designated to return list. So theoretically, he could return if Giants make the Super Bowl and if he is healthy by then and does not have season-ending surgery.
Hey Ohmie,How can you beat the BIG Blue when you can't beat unranked miami for crying out loud? What an embarrassment to the big ten.Stupid Losers!!!!Can't stand them!!!!
Ohm (1:04 PM)
Uh, yeah, MSU loses every November and December in basketball. And how many Final Fours do they have in last two decades? More than any other program. See you in March.
Will Brown's injury hurt a lot, or are Bradshaw and Wilson capable of handling the load?
Ohm (1:04 PM)
That's certainly the hope Alex although the Giants signed Ryan Torain and Kregg Lumpkin this week as well.
Rich (New Jersey)
Hi Ohm, With the Redskins, Saints, Falcons, Ravens, & Eagles left on the schedule and the Cowboys 2 games games back and a fairly easy schedule think Giants need to go 4-1?
Ohm (1:05 PM)
Rich, naw. I wouldn't say that. Because there's no guarantee that the Cowboys win out. Remember, they nearly lost to Cleveland last week.
Hi Ohm,With Wilson now firmly ensconced in the Giants lineup, will we be seeing more screen plays on offense? Thanks.
Ohm (1:06 PM)
Malcolm, I certainly would like to see that happen. I think getting him out in space as much as possible is good idea. But you can't be obvious in doing it either.
Mac (Greenpoint )
What happened to Da'rel Scott? Can't be thought of highly right now after the Giants sign 2 running backs to replace Brown. Perhaps it's his style of play?
Ohm (1:06 PM)
Placed on IR weeks ago after debridement surgery on his knee.
Brendan (New York)
Hey Ohm,What happens if the Giants lose Bradshaw too? iven his history, it's not too far-fetched. Does David Wilson take the starter spot? He's got to know the playbook betetr than any of the newly signed veterans, even if they have more play and blockign experience.
Ohm (1:08 PM)
Let's hope that doesn't happen first of all. But if it were to happen, we'd have to see where Wilson is learning curve wise and how he did. But at that point, Torain and Lumpkin definitely in the mix.
Joe M (Bandwagon jumper)
Thats for your work Ohm I love it! So last year I had sent you a question if I should jump on the giants bandwagon before the packers game and well I didnt and now after the giants beat the packers this year I def will be joining the giants fan base again and leaving the packers fan base! Am i making the right move???
Ohm (1:10 PM)
Hahaha. Thanks Joe M. Well, don't let me determine whether or not you should be on board with the Giants. I only cover them. I'm only a fan of Michigan State athletics. But if you are asking me if the Giants will let you down or something like that... I believe Giants will make the playoffs. Sticking to my 10 win prediction. And they can make another run. But never forget: Giants love to make things hard on themselves whenever there is a chance to have a cushion or pull away.
Ray (Southside )
Love the work Ohm! Should we be worried about Kenny Phillips with the Knee injury? will he play Monday night?
Ohm (1:12 PM)
Thanks Ray. Appreciate that! KP says he will play. But he did not practice today. Coughlin hopes he will practice tomorrow. So check back later this week to see if he practices
Does Monday night come down to the last minutes like the last game againsst Washington? First time the rookie is playing a team for the second time in the same season, so maybe they've figured some things out on how to stop him....
Ohm (1:13 PM)
Hey ASN. This is interesting... we have to see who it benefits. Usually, it works out for a defense. But you never know. I do think it will be a close game again.
Travis (Jersey Shore)
Ohmmm, the Giants D always seems to look more comfortable and productive with that 3 safety look. Is that something they will use more going forward or is that only for certain matchups?
Ohm (1:14 PM)
I thought it looked great vs GB. But every game is different. Really depends on KP's health.
Ohm, after checking out blogger for other team i can easily say your the best and i'm glad your covering the Gmen
Ohm (1:15 PM)
Hey Anthony! Thanks for the love man. But there are really great people on the beat. We all bring different views and talents I think. But really appreciate the shout out.
Mike Hawk (Enemy Territory)
Ohm, what do the Jets need to do to get back on track in the next year? Seems like they have a LOT of work ahead of them. Do they have a firesale of all under-performers?I think an Invincible-type tryout might work. Never know who's the next guido football sensation.
Ohm (1:17 PM)
Mike... enemy territory! Love it. Man, the Jets need a lot of work. But I believe, in my opinion, that Rex should stay. I don't think he's the problem. No. 1: Get more talent. There simply isn't enough. Especially for what Rex wants to accomplish on defense and offense. Need more skill players. Need more speed. And there needs to be wholesale changes, wherever deemed necessary in the organization.
How are James Brewer, Marvin Austin and Adrien Robinson doing? What does the coaching staff think of them?
Ohm (1:18 PM)
Mike, I think the Giants want to see more progress from them. But all three clearly are players for the future.
David (Jupiter, FL)
Are the Giants going to stick with the 2 linebacker, 3 safety set or will that only be against passing teams? I think Kiwi on the line and Rolle in the slot makes their defencs a lot better. Do you agree?
Ohm (1:19 PM)
I liked what I saw on Sunday night. But that doesn't mean it is going to work this week. Remember, they kept two safeties deep and dared GB to run. Washington runs the ball much, much better. But, with all that said, I like Rolle closer to the line of scrimmage. Not necessarily to cover all the time but I like him vs the Run and when he blitzes as well. But he does bring more consistency covering the slot. If Jacquian comes back, that gives them even more flexibility and allows Kiwanuka to play up front.
Let down coming this week? Seems like after big wins, they're a little lacking in effort. Losing Andre will cripple them in short yardage/goal line. Seems like we'll go as far as Eli takes us.
Ohm (1:21 PM)
JD... I don't know so much letdown as opposed to RG3 and MNF, his MNF debut. Going to be a tough game. Washington needs this more than the Giants.
Is it looking like Jacquian Williams assumes a full role Monday night? I think he was an underrated part of the Super Bowl team.
Ohm (1:21 PM)
I don't know about full role yet Tom. But he appears on track to come back soon. Let's see how much he does in practice today. His speed is a nice thing to have on the field.
wad up Ohm...love ur work...now that the cowgirls showed who they really are along with the eagirls too, if we beat the skins on MNF can we finally say TC is da man!!!!
Ohm (1:23 PM)
Ray, TC is da man. Two rings to prove it. Doesn't matter what happens on MNF. He is the man.
Ohm (1:23 PM)
Alright guys, thanks so much for all your questions! Got to run. But thanks again. Good luck this weekend!
