Vote: A-Rod to Yanks

 Alex Rodriguez
Going, going . . . gone to NY.

Well, it seems like we should have seen it coming -- the game's greatest all-around player (with the game's biggest contract) going to the game's richest, most successful franchise.

It's the perfect fit. Except that the Yankees already have a future Hall of Famer at shortstop.

If nothing else, the trade keeps A-Rod from the Red Sox, and that may have been reason enough for the Bombers.

What does it all mean? How does this shake up the Yankees and Red Sox?

We want SportsNation's trade analysis.
