Cabrera contract a good move?

This just in: Major League Baseball contracts aren't getting any smaller. The latest case comes from Detroit, where the Tigers, according to a source, are about to give Miguel Cabrera a contract extension worth $292 million over 10 years -- the largest in history. Now, Cabrera easily is one of the sport's best players. He also is almost 31; you can do the math on how old he'll be when he comes off Detroit's books. Is this a good move in Motown?
