The Detroit Tigers are riding a six-game winning streak and clearly having a lot of fun in the process. Their secret? A scary lineup, a scarier rotation, and a downright terrifying collection of tiger-striped Zubaz outfits.

Justin Verlander decided to class it up a bit by adding a tie to the ensemble, but the Cy Young Award winner should know that mixing patterns is a potential fashion disaster:

Meanwhile, Joba Chamberlain's pre-flight photo made the Tigers look like one of those weird rock bands in which they all dress in the same outfit -- you know, like KISS, or the Polyphonic Spree, or the early Beatles.



Displaying such powerful swag has consequences, however, as the Tigers found out when their fierce Zubaz outfits (apparently) caused their plane to break down and their flight to be canceled.
