In order to avoid a second straight postponement, the crews got to work nice and early to clear the field.
Snow in May? Not a big surprise in Colorado. In fact, the same situation happened right around this time last year.
"Wow" is not to be confused with, "Whoa." This was last year, almost to the day. =G pic.twitter.com/Yuluxw3fGe— Colorado Rockies (@Rockies) May 10, 2015
But it does look like one Rockies player isn't thrilled about playing in this weather.
The good news is the grounds crew got the job done and the game will go on. Even the owner came out to make sure the field was ready:
Lesson learned: Next year, the Rockies should play the second weekend of May on the road.
