Vince Young is working out for the Bills, and receiver David Nelson thinks Young is in great shape. Could Young help a team as a starter?
nupetre1919: "As a Bills fan through and through we need anything that will make us better! Sign him we can't get any worse"
texas386: "VY is very much a capable NFL QB. It's not his play .. but rather his antics that have put him back as a 2nd string QB. If he finds the right team .. right system ... this guy still has several good years left in his tank."
palanador21: "It is just ridiculous to label Young a bust. A bust is someone that was drafted really high and accomplished absolutely nothing in the league. Joey Harrington, Akili Smith, JaMarcus Russell, Ryan Leaf. These are busts. Vince Young to this point has had a decent career. Though he has not lived up to expectations. But he is still young and is still a viable starter in the NFL."
DavieDeeFTW: "Where's the downside in signing up VY to be a back-up? He's certainly capable, and is better than most back-ups."
kiljare: "If the Bills pull the trigger on this deal, it will be a great move for them. Maybe he will break the curse."
Gr8st23: "Bottom line: VY went to Philly to try to pull a Kolb-Cassell-Schaub. Audition in a few games and sign a nice deal the next year with another team. In case you missed his performances in those games (I know he had ONE decent game), look no further than the fact that virtually no one wants him now. FACT: He blew it. He had a PERFECT opportunity and really, really blew it. A couple of those game were worst-qb-performance-of-the-year status. He's done."
