Dwight Howard's 2012-13 destination is still up in the air, but the Lakers seem to be pursuing him the most out of all potential trade partners. Will he end up with them?
shanspan1: "Why would Howard possibly want to sign with a soon to be (next month) 34 year old 43% shooting guard and a 39 year old point guard. By next season when Howard is a free agent Kobe will be 35 and Nash 40, not exactly a promising core that will help him get to the finals."
PorterWayne757: "Laker management are idiots why do you pursue a guy with a bad back and who already told you in no uncertain terms he doesn't want to come here and will not sign an extension, it's a waste of time. Negotiate longterm with Bynum. Kobe already said he was not going to play much more than two more years anyway you need a star presence."
Chute99: "Guess what? Lakers can offer Howard about $25 Million with a new contract. This is the same as last year and he still didn't want to come."
NGplayinskillz: "The East is gonna be winning the next few championships anyway so really Dwight Howard is just wasting his time going to the Lakers. It's not like he will have a better shot at the title."
GJones196842: "If Howard wants and NBA title he will be a lot better off with the Lakers than anyone. The Nets and Orlando will not get him there anytime soon and, the Rockets are still trying to figure out what they want to be as a team."
