U.S. women's national team coach Pia Sundhage is stepping down after leading the Americans to the 2011 World Cup final and back-to-back Olympic gold medals. She entered Saturday's friendly against Costa Rica with an 88-6-10 record at the helm of Team USA, including memorable extra-time wins over Brazil in the 2011 World Cup semifinals and against Canada in the London Olympic semis. While the U.S. won't face a major tournament until the 2015 World Cup, U.S. Soccer is starting its search for a successor immediately.
