Winning the Heisman Trophy isn't always a guarantor of NFL success, but it's been a banner season so far for former winners of college football's highest honor. Cam Newton led his Panthers to a win over the skidding Panthers this week, Robert Griffin III made a splash last week in his NFL debut, and even Reggie Bush got in on the action with nearly 200 yards against the Raiders. That's a pretty good endorsement for the prognostication skill of the Heisman committee, don't you think?

Best in college?

Reggie Bush had to vacate his Heisman Trophy win, but that doesn't make his college performance any less impressive.

Best in the pros?

Bush, Newton, and Griffin III are all at different stages of their careers, but it'll be interesting to see who ends up on top.
