The NFL says it will crack down on coaches and players who berate replacement officials. Is this taking it a step too far?
SilentWay47: "John Fox and Del Rio were berating the officials because they had to waste challenges on erroneous flags that were poorly called. Anytime a coach challenges a penalty and wins is a clear sign that the refs have no idea what they are doing and that no flag can be trusted and you honestly expect us or them to respect the game. I stand by the coaches. "
Chingman10642: "Imagine if there wasn't instant replay? It would have been hell right now. Instant replay is actually extending the lockout because if a mistake is made on the field, instant replay will correct it. That's why that none of the bad calls made any real difference in the games."
irie1427: "I watched the Denver game, John Fox was out of line with his behavior, he acted like a big bully and totally embaressed himself, he should have been fined "
cjkidd551: "Were regular refs perfect? Hell no. Were they tolerable? Yes. The replacement refs are just horrible and cost teams challeneges and time outs. They can't even speak correctly. They are watching the replays and still getting plays wrong on challenges. They are disrespecting the game with these refs'"
TheGreatestNovel: "I think with the replacement refs the coaches should be allowed one more challenge flag without being charged a timeout regardless of the decision."
